What does the New Year mean for you?

The New Year brings forth a new beginning with new goals and things that we hope to get better at and work towards in the coming year.  Whether it is a fresh start or a chance to change some things in our life the cross over from 2013 to 2014 is really just the changing of a number.  But for some reason that change represents new hope.  Sadly most of the time that new hope wears off pretty quickly and we revert back to our old selves rather quickly.

But there is someone who is willing to help us end the cycle and experience some real change.  Someone who offers a new chance at life, someone who loves us more then we will ever know, someone who is with us and for us, someone who knows our faults and loves us in spite of them.  Instead of making a bunch of resolutions, let’s just make one big one, to passionately pursue a relationship with Jesus Christ.  It will be the greatest New Year’s resolution you have ever made.

God Bless You,

Pastor Mark
